Australia's
only 'Zooquarium' that features exotic and native
animals and ocean and river fish. Exhibits include
European Brown Bears, leopards, serval, monkeys, koalas,
Tasmanian Devils, birds, sharks, fairy penguins, snakes
and frogs. There are lions, tigers, pumas and more. You can
even feed some of the animals. There are also large,
landscaped enclosures, barbecue and picnic facilities. A fantastic day out for the kids, and i'm sure parents will enjoy it too!
The
National Zoo & Aquarium is one of Canberra's most
centrally located attractions and is no further than
15 minutes from anywhere in Canberra.
