Alice Springs is known for its incredible Aboriginal cultural experiences. The Aboriginal Art and Culture Centre offers desert discovery tours, didgeridoo lessons, art exhibitions and a museum.

Alice Springs is also well known for ballooning and camel trekking. If you are planning to spend most of the time on the beach, summer is the best time to visit, although humidity is a factor. In order to avoid the extreme heat, Alice Springs should be visited in spring and Autumn.
