| Adelaide
Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, is a relaxed but sophisticated
city with just over a million inhabitants that is bound
by the hills of the Mt Lofty Ranges and the waters of
the Gulf St Vincent.
The city features
a great many parks and green areas and the weather is
bright all year round, although the summer heat benefits
from access to a pool or air-conditioning.
There are many beaches close to the city, with surfing
available a little further afield and there is even an
artificial reef designed for divers off Glenelg beach.

as six of the top ten Australian wines are made in the
regions surrounding Adelaide.
